| Lol fancy name because whatever. Since the chat is overflowing, I'll just post this here for my own and maybe your reference. This is for ideas that pokemon should change or HAVE and it would be super neat. If Mega Pokemon are suggested, let's call them Super *pokemon here* in case that pokemon gets a mega eventually, with this supers can be suggested as what would've been a better mega idea for a pokemon. So far, let's look at the SUPER list! I'll stop saying super. Recommended: If new type, suggest 2-4 other pokemon with that new type (either already existing or new ones) - Ground does not affect ghost types/Type abilites (To solve levitate problems):
So ghosts get no love, and they also have very incoherent stuff on them. Let's just go with chandelure. Floats, and it is affected by ground. I suggest two solutions! 1. Make ghosts just, invulnerable to ground or 2. Add type abilities, abilities/anability that all pokemon of that type have. Seeing in gen VI the ability could be considered the ability to be able to ignore trapping effects, I'm assuming we can add this one and just make ghosts invulnerable to ground. Oh also, since pure types would be affected by this, make some abilities not viable with certain type combinations or/and make the pure pokemon have an increased chance or better version of that ability.
- Fog weather:
Now that we can take off some ghost pokemon the ability to levitate, let's make a ghost pokemon be able to do it. Before deciding that, let's say what a fog weather would do:
- When there is fog on the battle field and when a turn completes "The fog is deep..."
- Lowers the Accuracy of all Pokémon battling by 10% except Ghost types (or raises evasion for ghost types by one stage/10%, the first one not in parenthesis is better since it's fair).
- Causes Moonlight, Synthesis, and Morning Sun to only recover ¼ of max HP.
- Weather Ball's power doubles and is not affected by accuracy reduction. (Note that Weather Ball's type does not change, nor does Castform change form or type)(So far drifbloom is the only ghost pokemon who can learn it)
- Increases the power of Ghost-type moves by 10%. Shadow Ball bypasses accuracy check (If pokemon has accuracy reduced) and has 100 power damage (Probably only applies to Ghost types).
- Decreases the power of Psychic-type moves by 10%
- It will last for five/six turns if created using (Ominous) Fog (new move) or Fog Radiation (new ability with a name bound to change), or eight/nine if the user is holding a Valley Rock (new item bound to a name change). (I added one more turn because it's easier to take Fog away than any other weather)
- Moves like: Whirlwind, Hurricane, Defog and Explosion(even if it doesn't hit you) will clear fog (idk what other moves could do it).
- Flying moves in the special category are not affected by the accuracy reduction. They don't remove fog however (except the ones included above). (They may remove/disable it for that turn only? Since the moves weren't strong enough it comes back after, may be a big nerf)
- If a ghost pokemon uses hypnosis, it has an 80% chance of hitting (or even a 100%). If a psychic type uses hypnosis, it will be reduced to 40% (or even 0%, the reduction of 6% would be ignored). Any other type is unaffected (well, besides the already established reduction). (The typing thing can be removed and just buff hypnosis for everyone, that may let you choose more pokemon for fog teams I guess)
- Causes Solar Beam to only deal half of its normal damage.
- Ghost pokemon can't flinch on Fog.
- Shadow Punch now obtains a 20% flinch chance.
- Lick has a 50% chance of paralysis with ghost types.
- Ominous Wind has now a 25% chance of raising all of the user's stats excluding accuracy and evasion by one stage.
- Pokemon who can summon Fog:
I say either all the current ghost pokemon with levitate to buff it and make it more viable (if you have a ghost team fog will probably be everywhere) or just give it to one in specific that only had levitate. These are the pokemon that have levitate (ghost):
- Gastly
- Haunter
- Gengar
- Misdreavus
- Duskull (Only pokemon that has another ability (frisk), evolution loses levitate, so might as well give it pressure too)
- Mismagius
- Rotom
- Giratina
Bolded are the recommended if not all of them are given it. Feel free to give the missing ghost pokemon without any ability an ability, like maybe rotom.
- Thrash(?) type:
I think jeff wanted a new type like fog, I forgot what type was suggested so instead I made a new one lol: It would look like it's poison but there's a lot of poison pokemon that wouldn't be classified like this. Pokemon who would classify would be: Grimer/Muk/Koffing/Weezing/Trubbish/Garbodor. The type would have a color similar to garbodor's. It's: Offensive: 2x: Flying, Bug, Grass, Psychic. 1/2x: Fighting, Poison, Rock, Steel, Fire, Fairy
Defensive: 2x: Fighting, Fire, Water, Psychic. 1/2x: Poison, Flying, Bug, Grass, Normal (2x means super affected by, maybe add steel in 2x)
- A moss pokemon (Rock+grass type):
I'll let jeff elaborate on that, but I'm assuming it evolves into a golem.
- Sound type:
We just neeeed it! Meloetta/Noivern/Jigglypuff/Tympole/Chatot/Exploud/Kricketune(Zubat?). Meloetta, Chatot, Jigglypuff and Exploud would exchange or add the normal typing they have. Tympole and Kricketune would just add it and Noivern, uh, idk about Noivern.
- Moves like: Sing, Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, Disarming Voice, Perish Song, Relic Song, Screech, Metal Sound, Uproar, Boomburst, Supersonic, Roar, Noble Roar, Chatter, Grass Whistle, Bug Buzz and Snore (Growl, Snarl, Confide, Howl?) are now Sound type moves.
- The ability Soundproof now makes you invulnerable to all these Sound Moves. Any move not included now hits pokemon with this ability(I think only Parting Shot applies, idk why that's not on the list above but it isn't lolol). Ghost types are therefore affected by Sound type moves now.
- Offensive:
- Defensive:
2x: . 1/2x: . 0x: . (2x means super affected by)
- Mandrake Pokemon (Grass+Sound type):
There could be a Grass/Sound Type based on mandrakes and there are so many possibilities WHY DOES THIS NOT EXIST YET.
- Super types:
You know, Megas and maybe some pokemon could use a third type, so why not cheat the system and add SUPER FUN type, which just basically takes, let's say, the combination of two types' typing and make it into one. That way we can cheat a third type into the system. Something like Flying/Dragon maybe could go together, Water/Grass, etc.
And more stuff maybe later, you can add stuff if you want to.

| Oh yeaaah, that's what it was. I'll add it and add something up (I'll leave you the typing chart) Update: - Sound type:
We just neeeed it! Meloetta/Noivern/Jigglypuff/Tympole/Chatot/Exploud/Kricketune(Zubat?). Meloetta, Chatot, Jigglypuff and Exploud would exchange or add the normal typing they have. Tympole and Kricketune would just add it and Noivern, uh, idk about Noivern.

- Offensive:
Edit: Added Super Types to first post - Defensive:
2x: . 1/2x: . 0x: . (2x means super affected by)
- Mandrake Pokemon (Grass+Sound type):
There could be a Grass/Sound Type based on mandrakes and there are so many possibilities WHY DOES THIS NOT EXIST YET.
