Yesterday, it was my friends birthday and we were going to see that new Narnia movie. On the way there, I was in the passenger seat of a friends car, and we got into a car accident. Bot cars involved got wrecked. My friends car was smashed in on the front left corner pretty bad. The other car involved went flying off the street and was smashed along the side.
Luckily, everyone involved came out okay. I came out with the most injuries - a couple scrapes on my nose and cheek. Thank God for that.
Now, naturally, I was being optimistic about the whole thing. I'm happy everyone came out with no injuries (mostly). I'm happy I have a story to tell. I'm happy I still got to see Narnia afterward.
But it just kind of dawned on me. I could have DIED yesterday. It's weird how everything could change in a second. For instance, if my friend was driving at a slightly different speed, the outcome could have been completely different.
I don't know why I'm posting this, I just feel I should say this: live for today. I'm not saying drop out of school to go see a movie, because you might not be able to see it tomorrow. I mean, if there's something you've been wanting to do, but you're too nervous or scared, do it now, because your life could change in a second. Like, for instance, starting a marathon group to raise money for charity.

And in case you're wondering, Narnia was pretty good.
