From some other forum, I WILL UPDATE SOMETIMES

"I...I can't beleive I did that..."

"I...I killed her! Gah...why did this happen!?"

"Yeah...Like...Like that man I saw earlier..."

Your name is GENO. You are a DEFENSE ATTORNEY. Today is your FIRST TRIAL. You have never been to this lobby before, and while it's quite simply it's many thingies amuse you to no end. You have a variety of INTERESTS. Such as HATS, GARDENING, COOKING and HISTORICAL DRAMAS. The trial will begin at 10 AM...

>What do you do?

>Doodle on all your paper work!

You want to. SO BAD. But this is your first trial and you've worked too hard to get fired now.

> Check the Court Record.

You want to see the profiles, but only yours is there...after all, only you've been introduced. darn you're handsome in this pic

The first is your ATTORNEY'S BADGE. Many people tell you that without it, no one would beleive you're a lawyer. You keep it in your pocket though, you think it's more "chic".

The second is the AUTOPSY REPORT. It states the victim died BETWEEN 4 AND 5 PM. The cause of death seems to have been BLOOD LOSS DUE TO BLUNT TRAUMA. Ow, You hope you never get hit in the head too hard.

>Kou should totally be your mentor.

He is!

This is KOUSHIROU. But everyone calls him KOU. He is your CHILDHOOD FRIEND, and is a PROSECUTOR. Despite being the same age as you, he graduated 2 years before you. As the GOOD FRIEND DESPITE HIS OCCASIONAL DOUCHEBAGGERY he is, he managed to land you a job at the local Law office. He has a variety of INTERESTS, which include READING, TENNIS, ART and MEDICAL DRAMAS. He is also good at using a STAFF and THROWING KNIVES.

"I know this is your first trial, but you should take it easy. You're sweating bullets, man!"

>What do you do?

>Ask Kou about the victim and defendant

"Well, as I assume you have read the autopsy report...you should know by now the victim died by a blunt hit to the head. I did not have time to make a background check, but the victim didn't seem to be involved in any questionable matters... Now, About the defendant..."

"Uh, that seems to be him...Maybe you should talk to him...Bye!"

"W-Wait, don't leave me alone now!"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm1FM-FdCBk...player_embedded

"I DIDN'T DO IT MAN! I SWEAR DOOD! I COULDN'T DO IT BRO!"

"Err..."

This is CARSF. He is your CLIENT. He has been accused of MURDER. He has a variety of INTERESTS. But most of them don't make any sense to you. He also tends to be A LITTLE BIPOLAR and IRRATIONAL. But despite all that...you two got along well back in HIGH SCHOOL.

>Ask the Client random questions

"So...What's your favorite color? Blood type? Do you like Pasta? How about wine? Do you own any consoles? Do you like animals? How about the internet? DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITE HATS? PLANTS? DO YOU WATCH DISCOVERY CHANNEL ;W;?"

"O-Oops..."

"S-Sorry...Don't know what took hold of me."

>Trial: Begin

"The trial will now begin, can the defendant come with me?"

"I DIDN'T DO IT G! I DIDN'T DO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!"

And so, he was taken away (forcefully) by the bailiff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCadGTpUM-w

"The trial is now in session. Is the defense ready?"

"The defense is, uh...Ready, I think!"

"...Very well. Is the prosecution ready?"

"Yes :/"

"Mr. Geno. Due to your nervousness, I want to make sure you're fine. Is there anything you want to say?"

Errrr...No. As far as you're concerned that is possibly the dumbest idea you have had since that time you tried to ride the mechanic bull. darn, you still haven't managed to find the copies Kou made of that video. Your puppy is too young to have kids, anyways. He's like 2 months old.

"I have nothing to say, Your Honor. I'm perfectly fine!"

"Very Well! May the defendant come to the stand?"

"Sup."

"Defendant, state your name and occupation."

You hate scones. WITH A PASSION.

You...You never learnt how to do the robot.

"As you all know, the victim CINDY BROOKS was killed by a blunt hit to the head, in between 4 and 5 PM. The murder weapon seems to have been this statue of "The Thinker". The prosecution wishes to add this piece of evidence to the court record.

THE THINKER STATUE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE COURT RECORD

"Always remember to check the court record. It is our most valuable weapon. Do it for me, I'm begging you."

"Uhh...sure."

"The prosecution would like to call it's first witness...A woman that was walking around, and then saw the defendant leave the victim's house!"

"A witness? How do we win against a witness?"

"Witnesses lie. And even if they don't lie, sometimes they remember things wrong! Never give up."

*suddenly, the witness appears*

"Witness, state your name and occupation."

"Ehehe! My name is Maya! I work at a flower store near the apartment where...where the thing happened!"

Can you even DO mind control? Last time you tried to "do a barrel roll" you ended up making Kou's dinner fly out the window. And he WASN'T PLEASED. And how can you get bored? You've been waiting for this day since you entered law school. Do you know how many parties Geno has skipped while studying to not fail the bar exam? All those hours at the library...*shudder*

>Have the witness give her testimony.

"I was like, walking around to visit a friend that lives around that place."

"It must have been around 1 PM..."

"Then I saw that guy leaving a complex, and he left the door open!"

"I took a peek inside the complex and...And...I found a dead woman!"

"I was in total shock! Couldn't move!"

"I had to call the police, immediately! But the phone next to the door didn't work..."

"I ran to the park and called from a public phone!"

("W-What do I do!?")

"You say the phone wasn't working? Why?"

"Your Honor, there was a black-out the day of the murder. We beleive the phone was cordless, and those sometimes fail during blackouts. I have here a record of the blackout. For future use. Oh, by the way. Our team just found out the victim had arrived from traveling the day before the murder. I want to submit her PASSPORT as well."

"Very well."

BLACKOUT RECORD ADDED TO THE COURT RECORD (Electricity was out from noon until 6PM)

PASSPORT ADDED TO THE COURT RECORD (The victim arrived from Paris the day before the murder)

"Very well, you may begin your cross-examination."

"The...What?"

"How did you graduate if you forgot one of the very basics?"

"I-I haven't forgotten!"

"Remember, we must expose the lies or inconsistencies in the testimony! They key is in the EVIDENCE."

"The evidence, right!"

"If you want more info, you can always PRESS THE WITNESS ON IT'S STATEMENTS for more info."

"Mmhm!"

"And when you find a flaw in the testimony...PRESENT EVIDENCE and rub it in their face!"

"Yeah! Rub it in their faces!"

"I don't need an echo."

"(ALL RIGHT! I CAN DO THIS! CROSS-EXAMINATION GO!)"

Yes, the first case is a reproduction from PW's Case 1, just to see how the system would work.

>Marcio: :/

>Question what kind of a phone she first attempted to call the police on.

"So, what phone did you first try to call the police with?"

"Silly you! Don't you remember? I saw there was a phone sticking out next to the door! I just had to put my arm in and grab it."

"Oh."

>Victim died betweem 4 and 5 PM. Point this out.

"About time! Well, I know you've been waiting for this...go on, do it!"

"AWWW YEA"

"W-What?"

"You say you went to visit your friend around 1 PM, right?"

"Y-Yeah! What's the problem?"

"Well, here I have an autopsy report...Which says the victim died around 4 and 5 PM! There was nobody- Err...No "body" to be found at 1 PM! How do you explain this three hour gap!?"

"I-I..."

"This is trivial! The witness just forgot the time!"

"She forgot the time, but completely remembered every other detail to a crisp? I doubt that!"

"The defense has a point. Witness, how do you explain this?"

"I...Umm..."

"And that's how you put a witness on a spot! Splendid job, Geno!"

"L-Let me testify again! ...Please, Judgy?

"Very well."

"Well like, when I found that woman...I heard the time!"

"A voice was saying the Time! Like, a TV show!"

"I'm not sure why it was off...maybe it was a taped program?"

"But yeah, that's why I got the time off!"

Geno: OBJECT while wearing Skirt Princess (Neige)'s clothes for no apparent reason.
Marcio: :/

What part of "I don't want to get fired" don't you get? Besides, everyone is tired of seeing the prosecution's boring face.

Geno: Figure out there was a blackout, so it was no taped program.

Your dog needs a haircu-WAAAAAAAAAAAIT A MINUTE

IF TWO DAYS AGO WHEN YOU WERE GONNA GIVE A HAIRCUT TO GUMMY THERE HADN'T BEEN A BLACKOUT YOU COULD HAVE USED THE BLOWER TO MAKE HIM LOOK FABULOUS

SHE COULDN'T HAVE HEARD THE TV

WAIT FOR IT

"HEY YOU WOMAN! THERE WAS A BLAAAACKOUT! THAT'S WHY MY DOG ISN'T FABULOUS TODAY! HOW THE heck DID YOU HEAR THAT TV THING!?"

"The defense will calm down. Regardless...they have a point. Ms. Maya?"

"U-Umm...I...Ah! I remember now!"

"Miss, these constant corrections harm your credibility. Please be more careful. And you seem...troubled. In any case, please testify."

"Hehe...Yeah Judgy! It won't happen again!"

"Ehehehe"

"You see, I didn't "hear" the time. I "saw" the time!"

"There was a table clock! The thing the killer used to hit that woman!"

"That was probably what I saw."

"See? No problems with the time.

"And I so pretty!"

"Why don't I get anything?"

"Why don't >I< get anything!?"

"You two are fine"

>Judge: Complement Futa's sexy outfit

"As much as I'd like, I can't do that while the court is in session."

>Geno: Nyaa~ :3c
>Marcio: :/

>Realize the thinker statue is a clock.
>Yell 'FFFUUU'

"HOLY CRAP THE THINKER WAS THE CLOCK? THE THINKER IS A CLOCK!?"

You want to yell FFFFFUUUUUUU, but decide not to, for your career's sake.

"Waaat a minute girl! The murder weapon wasn't a clock...it was this statue!"

Now....

"DOES THIS SEEM LIKE A CLOCK TO YOU!?"

"Argh! You and your objections, and your evidence, and your hold it! Stop it already!"

"Answer the question, Miss Maya! How did you know it was a clock!?"

"T-That's a clock! I swear!"

"Your Honor...You see, this is actually a clock. The neck is a switch. You hit it, and it says the time out loud! I accidentally submitted it as a statue, I apologize."

"I see...So it was a clock...Well Mr. Geno? Miss Futa wasn't lying, this is a clock. Do you have any problems with the testimony now?"

>What do you do?

>Realize she still would have heard the time, not 'seen' it, as she has stated

"Your Honor...doesn't that seem weird to you? She just said she "saw" the time, but she "heard" it..."

"Go on"

"Now, how did she hear the time? I'll tell you how..."

>What do you do?

I already said you can post commands, repeat commands are just transformed into one ANYWAAAYS

>Explain that she DID hear the time, on the Thinker Clock, when she KILLED the victim.

"We now know The Thinker was the only clock that could've been heard, or seen by the apartment's entrance. Miss Maya said she did not enter the apartment...So, how did she listen to the time?"

"..."

"The answer is obvious."

"You're a liar! You were in the apartment the day of the murder!

"You can't prove I did that!"

"I'll do better than that! I'll prove you killed her! You hit her with the clock, and made it say the time on accident!"

"THAT'S why you saw the time!"

"This is baseless conjecture :/!"

"Overruled. The defense has a point. Continue!"

"And well!? What do you have to say, Ms. I KILLED HER!?"

"I...I...ARGH-I DIDN'T...I...!"

"The defense has no evidence to prove the witness heard the time from this clock!"

"And well, can you prove this clock said the time that day?"

"Yes, I can! All we have to do is..."
