| Nintendo has announced an official Zelda artbook showing concept art and in-depth information behind the games in the series. To add to the Zelda 25th Anniversary celebration, Nintendo will release a 274 page book with many never-before seen concept arts, such as the many wolf forms of Twilight Princess and the developing of stylizing Link in Skyward Sword, as well as other miscellaneous sketches. Now here's the good part: Not only does it contain artwork, but the book will cover events such as "The Origin Story" introduced in SS, and "A Complete History of Hyrule". Yes, history of Hyrule, with a timeline included. It will release in Japan next week on the 21st at the price off 3,255 Yen, which is about US $40. There is no word yet if the book will be translated or released out of Japan. If it gets translated, I'll definitely be buying it. It will be exciting to finally know the timeline, but it also kind of saddens me that the mystery will be gone. | |

| I'm not surprised, totally expecting it. Specially the part where the timeline will cost money to the first person to know it and spread it and everyone afterwards who actually buys it.
I was expecting it more from where I starting to see the pictures before actually reading the part below. It's actually interesting, kindo f behind the scenes.
Though they kind of blew it, I'm guessing some games won't have sense or will be kind of a long time later or something, with some extra information and maybe some filler or fake information to make it senseful, it's Zelda and they can do whatever they want lol, and probably in a page will explain too the placement without some sense in the timeline. And oh yes, they blew it, they should have sold it when the Zelda series was over, unless it's already over, unless they plan on making 50 more games to add to the same timeline or another one. Which would make a bit of sense but still some waste lol.
Nice book thou, probably better than the movie.

| Pretty neat. The movie was the best! I was at the premier. | |

| i;d imagine they'll only put existing games into the order they happen so they can leave empty spots between games for future games | |

| Well probaby that, but it's kind of interesting but at the same time a bad idea to place the timeline there as I have said. | |

| if they just make a bare timeline with the game in order with details taken out of old game manuels then I think its ok | |

| It's ok, but a bad idea, atleast from my point of view of their point of view.
Unless you refer to a timeline with just the dates of when was each game released, which would be pretty funny lol.

| It would probably just be a release date timeline, not the Zelda timeline. | |
