| - #504 Patrat:
Uhh... No thanks. Reminds me too much of Bidoof, with the addition of crazy red eyes. Since I REALLY dislike Bidoof, this Pokemon is getting a low rating. Score: 3/10
- #505 Watchog:
This isn't really an improvement. It got taller. So What? Oh, he folds his arms too. He must be so cool. Score: 2/10
- #506 Lillipup:
Hmm. Welp, I have nothing to say about this one. Except, That it reminds me of Eevee. Which is a good thing. Score: 8/10
- #507 Herdier:
Ugh. Another pokemon gone bad after it evolves. What happened to the times when pokemon got ossumer when they evolved? Charmander, Cyndaquil, Squirtle, and Eevee. Very few examples of which pokemon get even better after evolvation. Score: 4/10
- #508 Stoutland:
Oh great. It looks even worse now. Nothing to say about this one, Except, No. Score: 2/10
- #509 Purrloin:
Reminds me of Skitty. Not bad, but eh. I guess I would catch this Pokemon until I found some better ones. Score: 7/10
- #510 Liepard:
Considering what you like, This pokemon actually DIDN'T get worse when evolving. I kind of like it. Better than the dog. Score: 8/10
- #511 Pansage:
- #512 Simisage:
I don't know how to describe so one. But I do like it better than it's pre evo. Score: 7/10
- #513 Pansear:
My favorite monkey by far. The Grass one reminds me of Broccoli. and the Water one has weird hair. I'm going with Fire. Score:8/10

| That Pansage review was really inspired... And are you sure you're not gonna review the starters and Victini? I do enjoy reviewing the Pokémon that I despise, and I know you despise the starters, so... | |

| - #504 Patrat:
Umm.. this thing scares me. Just look at its eyes! Other than that, it wouldn't be too bad. 6/10
- #505 Watchog:
...It looks like a stretched out recolored version of the first form. And the eyes are still terrifying. 5/10
- #506 Lillipup:
How can you hate this thing? 8/10
- #507 Herdier:
It looks like a police chief. But it's a dog. 8/10
- #508 Stoutland:
How can anything with a mustache like that NOT be awesome? 9/10
- #509 Purrloin:
Ugggghhh, ANOTHER cat? Eh, it's better than Glameow. 8/10
- #510 Liepard:
Not bad.. but it's no Persian. 8/10
- #511 Pansage:
I think the monkeys were a little unnecessary. But this one doesn't look so bad. 7/10
- #512 Simisage:
A biker from the 80's with an obsession with plants. Grass mohawk, grass jacket, all he needs is the grass motorcycle. 7/10
- #513 Pansear:
Not to different from the grass one. 7/10

| - #504 Patrat:
Ugh. This is what you call a "Rattata Rip-off", people. You know, like Zigzagoon and Sentret. There's always a rodent in the beginning of the game. The only thing that really bothers me about this guy is his eyes... Is there any reason for them to be all red like that? What's the point? Patrat is probably the second worst Rattata Rip-off because of this, second only to Bidoof. *Shudders*... My score: 4
- #505 Watchog:
No improvement to be found here. He looks like a peeved crossing guard or something. Just give him a stop sign staff and bam, he's a crossing guard. He still has the red eyes, and he looks like a bowling pin. No thanks. My score: 3
- #506 Lillipup:
This guy is slightly below average for me. But he loses more points for having a HORRIBLE name. I mean, Lillipup? What kind of idiotic name is that? I can't get over it. The name sucks so bad, I'm deducting .5 points from his original score. My score: 6
- #507 Herdier:
What a failure. He is completely ruined now. Herdier is what I like to call "fubar", an acronym that I will ask you to look up rather than ask me what it stands for. But there's just no easier way to say this. Herdier is the penultimate suckage that will forever be condemned to my hatred as a Pokémon Trainer. He cannot be saved. (Okay, the real reason I don't like him is the blue cape on his back. And his moustache.) My score: 3
- #508 Stoutland:
Okay, okay. SLIGHT improvement here. The big moustache actually makes sense, because he's such a big, fat dog now. I still don't really like him, however... I mean, why can't you just keep it simple like in generation 3 and make a normal dog? My score: 4.5
- #509 Purrloin:
I like this cat. Her name is kinda disgusting (...Loins...?), but it's actually a well designed Pokémon. If you put it next to Poochyena, it might come off as a generation 3 Pokémon. My score: 7
- #510 Liepard:
She got worse. I'm sorry, I just don't agree with it's design. If you're gonna make a leopard, make it black and yellow like in real life. Yellow and purple just doesn't work for me. Like, at all. To quote Family Guy: " THAT THING COME BY MY HOUSE, I KILL IT!"My score: 6
- #511 Pansage:
Ahh. We have come to a point that I like to call the Monkey Saga, where I have to review SIX. MONKEYS. CONSECUTIVELY. I don't agree with the whole "hey, let's put a thousand monkeys in this game!" thing. But when I actually played the game, it was actually kinda clever to see how you obtain this Pokémon. You only get the one that is weak against your starter Pokémon, but strong against the gym leader. Which is very nice. Pansage in particular is my second least favorite, however. He looks like broccoli. And that ain't cool, yo. My score: 5
- #512 Simisage:
I'm gonna spare you the extra text and just come out and say it: My review is exactly jefferlope's opinion of it. It's just cooler. Simple as that. My score: 7
- #513 Pansear:
I love the carefree expression he has. Reminds me of Lombre, almost, which is one of the better Pokémon from generation 3. I've been referencing that generation a lot lately... Eh. My score: 7 Now, we just wait for Supa.

Yeh I know... I really don't have time to write a full little review for each of them.. Can I just give them a number? I think I showed you the way I rate is pretty fair? Numbers would be a lot better for me. |

| Pfft, fine. Looks like I'm breaking the ice this time. - #514 Simisear:
Because I dislike reviewing six extremely similar Pokémon all in a row, I'm gonna try and end the Monkey Saga quickly. I love this guy's expression. He's campy. I like. My score: 7
- #515 Panpour:
This is the monkey that I was stuck with. He's the worst of the bunch. Not that he's too much different then the rest. Eh. My score: 6
- #516 Simipour:
I have just one problem with this one. It's possible for them to be male.My score: 5 The Monkey Saga isn't over, though. There's still two more monkeys in the way, coming soon.
- #517 Munna:
For some reason, this Pokémon plays a rather important role near the beginning of the game. He looks like one of my little sister's pillows. You know, one of those ones that smell weird and are impossible to sleep on because they are either too small or have little beads that seem to puncture your skull? Yeah, Munna is like one of those. And he sucks. My score: 5
- #518 Musharna:
Got bigger, and now it squirts a weird substance out of it's snout. No thank you. Especially considering you gotta use a Moonstone for the thing. My score: 5
- #519 Pidove:
We have reached the token bird Pokémon. Took us awhile, but we're there. Out of all the small birds (Pidgey, Hoot-Hoot, Taillow, and Starly), I gotta say, this one is the least inspired. It's just a grey Starly, nothing more. It's so average looking, I have nothing else to say about it other than "Meh". My score: 6.5
- #520 Tranquill:
This one isn't half bad. It's a silver version of Pidgeotto, the undisputed champion of all the generic, weak bird Pokémon found in the beginning of the game. It's the best since Pidgeotto, if you ask me. But eh... He still gives off a sort of boring and uninspired vibe, though. My score: 7.5
- #521 Unfezant:
The female version of this is way better, because the male version has a ridiculous red thing on it's head! What's up with it!? It ruins the design, it really does! I almost want to give the male and female versions separate scores, but I can't. So, to sum the entire thing up: My score: 6 (But I'd give it an 8 if it weren't for the red thing)
- #522 Blitzle:
It's about time we get a zebra Pokémon. I don't really agree with making it an electric type, though. Also, pretend you never knew that Blitzle was a zebra. You have no idea what a Blitzle is. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word "Blitzle"? I hear an electric version of the water type generation 4 Pokémon, Buizel. But I don't think of a zebra. Oh well, it's a better name choice than the next one... My score: 7
- #523 Zebstrika:
Ugh... Worst name ever. Zebstrika? Really? That sounds like the nickname of a gogo dancer or something. Other than that, there's nothing much to say other than he's an adult zebra that can emit electricity out of it's... Well, we have another problem. Magnemite shoots electricity from it's magnets. Pikachu's cheeks are it's electricity source. What does Zebstrika use? Who knows. It's another good reason why he shouldn't've been an electric type. My score: 6.5

| If it had to be water, fire or electric, I'd totally see a zebra as electric.
And there are guys that have the hair like that monkey, whatcha talking about.

| The blue monkey also wears a dress.
And I was suggesting that the zebra ought to have been dark or normal type.

| You make it look like a dress, it can be a long shirt lololol.
And well dark would fit more than normal imo. Or psychic idk, it all depends on the primary color.

| Wait. The Fur/Hair on Zebras/Horses can cause Static, Just like ours or like, Cats. So It might store its electricity in it's hairish substance on his body. Well, the top of his body. You know what I'm talkin' 'bout. And Since Jaco Really wants me to review this set for some reason, I'll do it later. | |

| - #514 Simisear:
Ugggghhh, I'm tired of monkeys. I'm just going to give numbers for the rest of them. 7/10
- #515 Panpour:
- #516 Simipour:
- #517 Munna:
It looks like an unborn elephant. With flower tattoos. But I think it's pretty cool. (Except for the fact that when I trained one, it kept dying! I had to boot it from my team..) 8/10
- #518 Musharna:
It's a faaaabulous Drowzee! I think the whole dream smoke thing is pretty cool. 8/10
- #519 Pidove:
A generic pigeon. Just like it should be. But could its evolutions top the last Pokemon that was based off a pigeon? (By name anyway..) Stay tuned and find out! 8/10
- #520 Tranquill:
Umm, this reminds me a lot of another bird that looks like it's wearing eyeshadow.. 6.5/10
- #521 Unfezant:
Alright, I can't review these as one Pokemon, so I will give them each separate scores. First of all, I DO like how they made these similar to real-life birds in the way that male birds (in some species) have vibrant colors and fancy stuff and all, while the females are bland and boring. Now, I think both of them look stupid. But, I think the male looks better because the female just looks.. bald. Male: 6/10 Female: 5/10
- #522 Blitzle:
I think Blitzle is pretty cool. But if it weren't for the lightning bolt, it just doesn't seem like an electric Pokemon.. BUT there IS a lightning bolt (and it glows!), so all is fine. 8.5/10
- #523 Zebstrika:
Hmm.. It's an electric version of the Ponyta/Rapidash evolution! Which is awesome. Although, I feel like its legs are a little short for its body. Maybe that's just me. 9/10

| - #514 Simisear:
well he looks clueless and I like his tail. Fire tails will never fail. the fluff around his shoulders makes it look like its wearing a jacket or something, so I guess simisage isn't the only gangsta 6.5/10
- #515 Panpour:
his "do" makes him the most unique pre-evo monkey, so at least he isn't just a blue version of the first two. I don't get this whole "see no evil" motto, last I checked the blind aren't that good at fighting 7.5/10
- #516 Simipour:
bleh, a blind hippie. this thing is the drawback for picking snivy, and instead of having the slightest gangsta infuence it looks like he's wearing some kind of skirt 4/10 (my hatred for him is cuz I own one, this will probably be my most biased score)
- #517 Munna:
i don't agree with it floating thing, but it does remind me of china decorations and piggy banks. Pink piggy bank=win, but the flowers make me still think the new pokemon are a little flashy. plain pink is all I need 8/10
- #518 Musharna:
AAH, my piggy bank became a pink sleeping drowzee! (if i remember correctly) the smoke doesn't even puff out in the animation, it's frozen or something. also I think i made apparent my disapproval of blind pokemon 6.5
- #519 Pidove:
pidgey wannabe, yay, the world definitely needs more of these. kidding sheesh. 6/10
- #520 Tranquill:
because pidove is boring and unfezant is ridiculous, i'll be nice on this one. actually its pretty plain but its expression makes it decent, and the back tail feather is kind of cool. 7.5/10
- #521 Unfezant:
Boy= ridiculous, girl= boring, this thing is pretty horrid next to Pidgeott, Noctowl, Swellow and Staraptor. 6/10
- #522 Blitzle:
when the first leaks of this game came out, blitzle was my favourite. the lightning bolt-mane is more creative than ponyta's. if he had another lightning bolt on the side of his body, this guy would be just yelling SPEED 8.5/10
- #523 Zebstrika:
and i think i didn't copy zebstrika so: I can't see it's eyes, the horns are too small and the tail look's like luxray's but white. 6.5/10
