So, you know how Dead Island just released today? Well, Deep Silver made a pretty big mistake on their Steam release of the game. Instead of releasing the final product, they accidentally sold an early build of the Xbox 360 version of the game - incomplete, sporting tons of glitches and bugs, and no-clip enabled by pressing "Y" on your keyboard.
Deep Silver says "We deeply regret that an incorrect version of Dead Island was inadvertently made available to players on Steam launch in North America," and then adds "We are very sorry for any issues you may have experienced while playing the game-the correct, patched version will be made available to North American players ASAP. Other territories are not affected by this situation. The fully patched game will be available on Friday as announced."
I thought it was a pretty funny story, so I posted it here.
