It's time to get serious, guys. No, really.
In order for this to be passed, I propose the following:
- Smileys should no longer exist in this forum.
- You must use proper grammar in your sentences at all times (Not just spelling. Actual grammar. If you require help, refer to the grammar lesson below).
- You may not style your posts.
- All colors on the site should become shades of gray.
- All attempts of humour will be frowned upon.
No fun, just seriousness.
A grammar lesson:
Here is a list of recurring grammar mistakes I have noticed here. Do not perform them.
1. The first letter of a sentence must be capitalized at all times.
2. Overusage of commas, unless when making a list, is not okay.
3. You must end your statements in periods.
4. Exclamation points are a sign of exclamation, perhaps out of joy or anger. There are no emotions in this forum, so exclamation points cannot be used.
5. The word "lose" is spelled L-O-S-E, not L-O-O-S-E.
6. Periods go after the parantheses, not before (Like this).
7. If you must make a contraction, use apostrophes, and use them in the right spot.
As more recurring mistakes appear, I shall add them to this list.
