| OK, basically my minecraft worked but now it doesn't load. This started happening right after Beta was released so is this just a server problem? If it is then why doesn't my Alpha work either? I downloaded alpha a couple days ago it shouldn't be affected by the Beta release. |

| NEW QUESTION: Ever since Beta update my Minecraft has been so slow I find myself quitting often and returning later to see if it'll actually run. It never does. WHY IS IT SO $~€~!\,¥• SLOW One more thing, I can't play my alpha save file anymore. This is a minor problem to me because I played it only twice, this could be more annoying to those who've played Alpha lots. Do either of these problems happen to anyone else? |

| Everything works fine for me. It might just be your computer? _________________ |

| It's most likely my computer, I find that strange though because alpha worked and "creative" mode did too. Oh, question reasked for jefferlope or anyone else mincraft obsessed: can you still play your alpha? |

| No, because Minecraft updates straight to Beta, I don't see how anyone could play Alpha, unless they played offline ever since Beta came out. _________________ |

| No.
And I believe you can play a past version without playing offline, you just need to modify some stuff around. |

You should still have your save files. I still have mine, or I wouldn't be able to make my LP series. |

| ahhh well then, it doesn't matter since I only got through one in alpha. I'll play minecraft more and ask questions after I get through the games I got from Christmas. Maybe by then that Markus Persson dude will make minecraft faster on Macs. |
