Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow, Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow. None have ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master: His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.

Tom Bombadil is the Master. No one has ever caught old Tom walking in the forest, wading in the water, leaping on the hill-tops under light and shadow. He has no fear. Tom Bombadil is master.

I know! He is the most important character in the book! Without him, the hobbits would've been toast before they even made it to Rivendell.

Tom is just BA to the ultimate degree. He picks flowers and he sings and he's just amazing. His songs are stronger.

Lord of The rings, Tom is from the first The Fellowship of the ring, there are two others, The Two towers and The Return of the King
Of course there's a BUNCH more by the same author on this whole fantasy world... but this is the best known of any of his works. The movies are amazing as well, you should check them out.

I found out the next door neighbour has all 3 movies, but I chose to watch the Rush Hour series instead.n I just don't think I'd like LoTR.
