Do you guys think they will use Skyward Sword Link? If that's the case, they would have to change Link's side-special move, as there is no boomerang in Skyward Sword.

There was also no Sheik in Twilight Princess, but hey, they modeled her as if she was in the game.

Very doubtful, considering the two are identical in basically every way.
At least Toon Link continues the "younger version of Link" trend.

I think there will only be one version of Link this time around.
And considering it's gonna be on 3DS, I think it will be just a watered down version of Melee.

Just like LBPSP is a watered down version of LBP, and Guitar Hero: On Tour is a watered down version of Guitar Hero III.

When a franchise reaches a portable system, that's usually the point where the games start getting milked. I doubt SSB will be an exception.

As such, we can expect the entire roster of the original SSB64, along with two or three extra characters. Hmm.
