PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A TRUE NUZLOCKE.
I'm gonna start my own "Nuzlocke" Run. It looks interesting.
Look at jeff's thread for more info.

I'm gonna put my own little twist in this: Every Pokémon I catch, I will name it after some of the recent top contributers to SMB and BrawlRoom. Yeah yeah, I know, this has been tried here many times already.

I also have changed the rules slightly. Here they are:
Rule 1: You must release any Pokémon that faints.
Rule 2: You can't catch any Pokémon that you already catched (You cannot have two Pidgeys, nor can you recatch fainted Pokémon).
Rule 3: You MAY catch more than the first Pokémon you see on any Route, Cave, etc.

I've already tried this with Pokémon Yellow but that failed, horribly. Besides, Porygon is 3,499 Game Corner coins cheaper in Pokémon Blue!
So let's do this.

This is how I'm starting off:

Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke Run RedTrainer: SMB

Pokémon:
Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke Run Spr_1b_007Squirtle
Nickname: DarkKirby, level 5

I'll update this when I can.

~Pallet Town
SMG was playing his SNES in his room, when he realized that he should start his adventure. If it were me, I'd continue playing, but alright.
He walked to his PC and withdrew a Potion. He tries to imagine how anyone could put a Potion inside of a monitor without breaking it first. Forgetting about this, he walks downstairs to greet his mother. "Right. All boys leave home some day," mother said. "It said so on TV. Professor Oak, next door, is looking for you."
Ummmm, SMB thought. He was only saying hello to his mother, he didn't even say anything about leaving for an adventure yet. Your mother needs to stop believing what she hears on TV.
Straying outside of his home, SMB decides to ignore his mother's direction and go straight towards the patch of grass to the north. SMB played this game before, so he already knows that Professor Oak would come and "save him". Sure enough, there came Professor Oak, bumbling towards him telling him that it isn't safe to go outside, even though SMB is perfectly capable of running away from battles.
The Professor led SMB to his laboratory, where he would get his first Pokémon. There was his rival, TSG, waiting to get his first Pokémon, too. For some strange reason, Oak decides to give SMB a Pokémon person, as opposed to his beloved, only grandson. Oak obviously doesn't care for TSG, he couldn't even remember TSG's name.
SMB looked through all the Pokémon, and eventually chose the Squirtle. He named it DarkKirby.
TSG chosen Bulbasaur, just to piss SMB off. TSG knew that Grass types beat Water types.
Predictably, TSG ran towards SMB and declared a battle.

The battle was very anti-climactic. Bulbasaur just Growled at Darkkirby as Darkkirby relentlessly Tackled Bulbasaur. Eventually, Darkkirby struck down Bulbasaur, much to TSG's arrogant dismay.
After losing, TSG declared to make his Pokémon stronger, and he stormed out.
SMB glared at Professor Oak, because he could've stopped the battle at any time, but he never did. Besides, his laboratory must have very expensive things in it, why didn't they battle outside? Oak didn't say a single word.
SMB left the lab and went to the grassy area again.

SMB began battling a few Rattatas and Pidgeys before he made it to Viridian City...

~Viridian City
SMB decided to go into the Pokémart to buy some things, but when he opened the door, the store clerk asked if SMB was from Pallet Town.
Is this guy a stalker!? SMB wondered. How did he know that I lived there?
Slowly nodding his head, SMG was then told to give a package to Oak. How rude of this man, why couldn't he have done it himself?
SMB hoped he had better get some sort of award for this. So, lugging Oak's Parcel back to him in Pallet Town, started wondering whats inside...
He probably thought it was just some nerdy unwanted science stuff.
So, he made it to the lab at last, and handed Oak the parcel.
Realizing how boring this part of the story was, SMB decided to skip it.

After that, SMB decided to buy a few Pokéballs. He caught a Pidgey, and named it jefferlope.
Next time, SMB will journey off to Viridian Forest...

It's Jefferlope to you Jaco.
Anyway, it's really cool how you're typing up a story from this. It makes it much more interesting than my run! Very Happy

~ Viridian Forest
It was dark and moody in the forest. SMB remembered this spot very well. Bad memories of trying to get out of this maze. Now, he knows the route perfectly. He figured he should train jefferlope first, however.
jeff's battle was just as anti-climactic as Dark's. He managed to defeat two Caterpies, before finally fighting a tough looking Metapod.
jeff was looking weak, so I decided to save my Potions and switch to Darkkirby.
SMB was looking for a very important Pokémon.
Darkkirby defeated a weaker Metapod during training. He decided it was about time to leave.
SMB found a Pokéball and an Antidote along the way... He was beginning to get tired. Laying down (And finding a Potion), he decided to let the Pokémon come to him rather than searching for it. Every now and then, Caterpies would crawl by, and Pidgeys would hop near him.
SMB decided to let DarkKirby fight a particularly strong looking Caterpie. It was a good battle, and Darkkirby even learned how to spit Bubbles from his mouth as an attack.
After awhile of Caterpies, Pidgeys, and the occasional Pidgeotto, the Pokémon SMB was looking for finally arrived.
Pikachu.
Shooting sparks from it's cheeks like it was taunting SMB, he tossed out Darkkirby's Pokéball.
DarkKirby shot Bubbles at the Pikachu, but to little effect; Water was weak against Electricity. Pikachu zapped Darkkirby with a Thundershock, Paralyzing him. Darkkirby was in trouble, so SMB sent him back into his Pokéball ,and then sent out jefferlope. Bad idea.
Flying wasn't strong against Electricity, either. jeff got lucky; Pikachu merely Growled instead of Thundershocking. This was jeff's chance.
jefferlope kicked up sand from under his feet by blowing air all around, and sent it towards the Pikachu's eyes. It couldn't see, now.
jeff then finished it with a Gust attack, and now it was time for the Pokéball. SMB tossed it. Encasing the yellow mouse, it shaked three times, and then, the Pokéball broke. Apparently, Pikachu had just a little bit of fight in it left. SMB didn't waste any more time, he threw another Pokéball. He caught it this time.
SMB decided to name him SupaKirb. He knew would be a worthy addition to his team.

SMB got up, and saw the exit to the forest. He made a running start, but was halted by some kid with a bug catching net. "Hey, wait up!" the kid said. "What's the hurry?"
Annoyed, SMB pulled out a Pokéball and sent out Darkkirby. The bug catcher, looking surprised, pulled out his own Pokéball, and sent out his Pokémon: A very strong looking Weedle. Wasting no time, SMB commanded Dark to shoot Bubbles at the Weedle. The Weedle, however, was too fast. It had smacked Darkkirby straight into the torso with it's Poison Sting. A weak attack, but Poison was nothing to joke about. Darkkirby was looking pale. He tried with success to shoot Bubbles at the Weedle, but he was keeling over by the Poison infection.
SMB quickly gave Darkkirby a Potion, but he was still Poisoned. The Weedle shot a white string-like substance at Darkkirby, which covered him up like a strait-jacket. Darkkirby's head wasn't covered, so he could still shoot Bubbles.
The battle raged on, turn after turn shooting Bubbles and stabbing Poison. Eventually, SMB switched out Darkkirby with Supakirb.
Supakirb shot Weedle with Thundershock, defeating him. However, Weedle, being as fast as he was, still managed to badly Poison poor Supakirb. Now, both Darkkirby and Supakirb were Poisoned.
SMB looked into his backpack frantically, in search of at least one Antidote. He sighed in relief as he found two of them.
Thank Arceus, he thought, that he bought that Antidote in the Pokémart earlier today.

Next time, SMB exits Viridian Forest and proceeds to Pewter City...

~Pewter City
Now that Supakirb and Darkkirby were both no longer Poisoned, SMB owned a Pikachu, and defeated the Bug Catcher that was guarding the forest exit, it was time to go to Pewter City.

The town was very quiet, not much was happening. The Pokémon Center was straight ahead. SMB walked to the Center to heal his Pokémon; they've been through a lot in a day.
Just North of the Center was the Gym. SMB knew how difficult this was before, but with Darkkirby on his side, it would be a cinch.
Still though, he thought that he ought to train jefferlope and Supakirb. Don't want to have his team unbalanced.

SMB went to the nearest grass patch and immediately spotted a wandering Rattata. Deciding to give Darkkirby a warm up, SMB sent him out first.
Darkkirby sprayed his Bubbles at Rattata, and the Rattata looked very close to being knocked out already. Must've been a Critical Hit. The Rattata got up, and paid back Darkkirby with a rather weak Tackle attack. Darkkirby seemed to make a noise, like a scoff, from his mouth. "Pfft", it sounded like. After this, Dark proceeded to smack Rattata with the back of his shell with a much stronger Tackle attack. Darkkirby won, and leveled up in the process.
Now it was jefferlope's turn.
jeff's match was with another Pidgey, but a little weaker. jeff and the Pidgey both seemed to be using the same attacks at eachother; both of them were merely flapping their wings, blowing around air and dust at eachother. It was hard to tell who was winning. Eventually, the wild Pidgey was struck down.
jeff didn't level up, but it was crucial that he did; His level was far below Dark's. SMB also had Supakirb to worry about.
The next Pokémon to appear was another Rattata. jeff jumped for it. It all happened in a short matter of time: jeff hovered upwards and flapped his wings twice, and before the Rattata could do anything, he was already KO'd. jeff had to have leveled up, now.
Now, it was Supakirb's turn.
Supa needs the most training of all. But with all the Pidgeys around, it shouldn't be too long before Supa is in top form.
The first adversary was a Caterpie. Supa let out an amazing array of lightning strikes at the Caterpie. The little Bug Pokémon had as much of a chance as jeff's Pidgey had. It wasn't enough to level Supa up, though.
Another Pidgey appeared. This was it... Supa ended the battle in a matter of seconds... It seemed unfair to the Pidgey. After this, an even stronger looking bird Pokémon flew in. It's probably trying to avenge his weaker cousin. Alas, Supakirb overpowered the Pidgey with a few Thundershocks. Things were starting to get a bit dull. Supakirb needs a challenge. But challenge was a tough thing to find in a world of weaklings like Rattata and Caterpie.
At the near end of the day, Supa had defeated another 2 Rattatas, and was looking stronger than before. It was time to defeat Brock, the leader of the Pokémon Gym here in Pewter City.

Brock's Gym only had three occupants: A man with glasses who was sitting near a Rhydon statue, a Jr. Trainer who looked very tough, and Brock himself. SMB stepped into the Gym and saw that there was a shortcut where you can pass the Jr. Trainer without him knowing. SMB decided to do this, it wasn't worth giving Darkkirby all the experience points. Instead, he went straight to Brock.
"I'm Brock! I'm Pewter's Gym Leader!" said Brock, although this was completely unnecassary, at least everyone knows that Brock is the leader here. "I believe in rock hard defense and determination! That's why my Pokémon are all the rock-type!"
SMB was beginning to wonder if Brock always had to exclaim when he talks.
"Do you still want to challenge me?" Brock asked. "Fine then! Show me your best!" SMB was confused, he didn't even say "yes" to his question. Nevertheless, he took Darkkirby's Pokéball and threw it...

At the moment that Brock had sent out his own Pokémon, SMB knew he was outmatched. Darkkirby was staring at a very powerful Geodude, more powerful than SMB has ever seen in his life. SMB wanted to stop the battle, but he knew he couldn't.
Darkkirby blasted Geodude with all he had, the Bubbles popping over Geodude's rocky exterior. Absolutely amazed, SMB watched in awe has Geodude began to cower. It only needed one hit left! But wait, no, Geodude wasn't cowering at all. He was curling himself of in defense...
He's gonna have to do more than that to save himself from Darkkirby's next attack. More Bubbles shot out of Darkkirby's mouth, finishing Geodude off. SMB couldn't possibly imagine what would happen next.
Brock stared at SMB and laughed. He took his last Pokéball out and unleashed the monster inside it...
An Onix.
An Onix that was even stronger looking than Geodude.
SMB knew that Brock owned a Geodude and an Onix, but he never imagined them to look so strong.
Onix began to clench up... He was using Bide. If Bide connected with Darkkirby, he would be done for. SMB hesitated, thinking about whether or not he should command Dark to use Bubble or not. Dark got tired of waiting and fired his Bubbles anyway. The results were just as amazing as before, but that was a bad thing in this case. Strong attacks against a Biding opponent can only mean bad things.
For some reason, Onix was still Biding... Still storing energy inside. Quicker than SMB knew he could, he commanded another Bubble attack against Onix. Dark obeyed, and there he had it, Onix fainted.
That was far easier than he had expected.
Brock sent Onix back inside his Pokéball, and walked towards SMB.
He started talking to SMB, but he couldn't hear a word he was saying; There was a blank, joyful feeling inside SMB's head that made him oblivious to anything. When SMB came back to his senses, he noticed that the Boulder Badge, one of the items required to battle the Elite Four, was lying in hand. There was also a white CD, which must've been a Technical Machine, a CD that taught Pokémon attacks. SMB felt he had little need for this attack, all he cared of was the Badge.

Beside himself, SMB walked out of the Gym in his glory. But he noticed something on the Rhydon Statue that the man with glasses was standing by. There was a computer with a list of names embedded onto the statue. It read:

PEWTER CITY
POKéMON GYM

LEADER: BROCK
WINNING TRAINERS:
TSG
SMB

It appears that TSG has already beat Brock. He should step it up a notch.
Determined, SMB left the Gym and vowed to beat TSG to the next Gym.

~Route 3
The Rattata fell at the hands of jefferlope. Wings, actually. After defeating Brock, SMB thought he was the greatest trainer ever. He went on a battling spree and beaten down everything in his path. But then he realized that his journey wasn't over yet. He still needed 7 more badges. Sighing, he walked East of Pewter City, saying his farewells to Brock and the amount of people who witnessed SMB's triumph over him.
He was told to go to Mt. Moon, a cave that was a shortcut to the next city. There was also many trainers there. SMB knew that jeff and Supa needed the most training of all his Pokémon, so he went straight towards Mt. Moon.
Sure enough, there was almost 10 trainers waiting for him. SMB was challenged by the closest one, a Lass. "You looked at me, didn't you?" said the Lass pretentiously. What did it matter if SMB did look at her? The Lass took out her Pokéball and released her Pidgey, which was one level stronger than jefferlope. SMB released Supakirb, and the battle begun. Supa, during his training, was capable of defeating weaker Pidgey's with a single Thundershock. This one was an exception... After the Pidgey was shocked, it sprung up and blew a Gust of wind at Supa, with mildly surprising results. Usually, Supa was barely tickled by the wind; This time, the wind blew him off his feet. Reacting to this, Supa flipped in middair and zapped Pidgey while hovering, for a KO. The Lass's second Pokémon was another Pidgey. This time, Supa did something a little different. Instead of blasting the Pidgey with a Thundershock, Supa instead emitted a strong Wave of Thunder... It Paralyzed the Pidgey, so it couldn't use it's Gust attack. Now Supa did what he did best: A Thundershock. The Lass sent her Pidgey back inside her Pokéball, exclaiming "You're mean!"
SMB looked ahead and sighed... There was many trainers left. Might as well bring out jefferlope.
The next chalenger was the Bug Catcher that SMB fought near the exit of Viridian Forest.
Except this time, he was packing.
The first Pokémon he sent out (after greeting SMB) was a powerful Caterpie. jeff let out a Gust attack, but it surprisingly had low effect. Caterpie lunged at jeff, which did much higher damage than the average Caterpie. It then tried to encase jeff in the white String like before. jeff was hit three times by the white gunk, and could barely move. jeff has been through situations like this before; He broke the the string and finished the Caterpie off with a final Gust attack. The next Pokémon was a Weedle. Apparently, Weedle wasn't trained very well, despite it being level 10: All it was doing was shooting String, like Caterpie did. jefferlope Gusted away the Weedle like before. The Bug Catcher was down to his last Pokémon: Another Caterpie.
SMB decided to switch to Supakirb. This wasn't a very good idea... Apparently the Bug Catcher saved the smartest of his Pokémon for last.
This Caterpie was fast, and it was able to beat Supakirb's Thundershock to the punch. It critically Tackled Supa, and Supa was on the verge of losing. SMB told Supa to do that Wave attack, like before, to Paralyze Caterpie. Supa obliged, and it worked. Caterpie was helplessly struggling to move. Then, Supa finished him with the Thundershock.
After the battle was won, SMB ran back to Pewter City's Pokémon Center to heal Supakirb. This was his closest match yet, and he wouldn't let that happen again.

Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke Run Empty
PostSubject: Re: Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke Run   Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke Run EmptySun Sep 12, 2010 7:40 pm

Sorry if the first three paragraphs seem a bit rushed. I had already typed this all out once before with much better wording, but when I finished, my internet shut off and I had to retype it all over again. So I apologize if some stuff is hard to understand, just feel free to ask anything you don't really get. Enjoy.
Mt. Moon
The remaining trainers on Route 3 were defeated. SMB was clearly false when he declared himself the strongest trainer ever... The trainers that SMB had fought along the Route all had Pokemon that were one or two levels stronger than his, which meant most of the battles were close calls.
SMB was forced to run back and forth to the Pokemon Center after every battle, because he didn’t want to spend money on Potions and such.
He had to save his money, because he was aiming to receive the rare monster, Porygon. Porygons were located in the Game Corner of Celadon City, which was a long way away. The Game Corner was a gambling joint, where you could trade in your earnings for Pokemon. You can either gamble all your money away, or just straight up spend them for Coins, and then trade the Coins for Pokemon. Porygon was the most expensive of the bunch, but SMB had an advantage. He lived in Blue Kanto, where Coins are worth more than they are in other Colors. Currently, Red Kanto and Yellow Kanto have an inflation, so Coins are worth much less there. TSG lives in Red Kanto. This upped SMB’s morale somewhat.

In Kanto of the late 90’s, people were born with either of the following types of vision: Red, Blue, and Yellow.
Whichever color a person was placed in all depended on eye color.
If a person is born with Blue eyes, they are placed in Blue Kanto, where everything is colored Blue, Red, Black, and White.
If a person is born with Brown eyes, they are placed in Red Kanto, where everything is colored Red, Green, Black, and White.
If a person is born with Green eyes, they are placed in Yellow Kanto, where everything is in full color.
Being placed in Yellow Kanto are considered very lucky, and have a rare but beneficial eye condition.
Also, people who live in different worlds see things differently, more than just color.
People born in Blue Kanto are visually unaware of the events occurring in other Kanto “Colors”, and vice-versa.
Some houses exist in Yellow Kanto that are completely intangible to people in other Kanto “Colors”.
The only way they know is by telling people from other Kanto Colors about that specific area or thing.

Moving right along, SMB noticed a Lass that was standing in a large patch of grass. He paid no heed to her, and moved along. As soon as he passed her up, SMB heard a shriek.
“Eek! Did you touch me?”
The nerve! SMB didn’t even go anywhere near her, why is this girl freaking out?
Nonetheless, SMB saw the girl pull out her Pokeball, and he sighed as he brought out his own. He didn’t have time to be messing with weaklings like this.
SMB spoke too soon; This girl was evidentally not weak at all, for she released not a Pidgey, Caterpie, or a Weedle, but a Jigglypuff, level fourteen. SMB knew much better than to underestimate a cute-looking Jigglypuff.
SMB let out Supakirb, and commanded him to Thundershock the Jigglypuff. The attack didn’t do much at all.
After this, the Jigglypuff began to Sing. SMB knew that Pokemon that could Sing could put Pokemon to Sleep.
Fortunately, Supa stayed awake. SMB figured he should switch him with someone more powerful, like Darkkirby. He did just that.
Darkkirby looked at the Jigglypuff and laughed at it’s not-so-powerful-looking stature.
After this, Darkkirby tried to blow his Bubbles at Jigglypuff, but for some reason, nothing came out. Wondering why this is happening, SMB noticed that the Jigglypuff had used Disable on him. He couldn’t use Bubble anymore.
SMB told Darkk to Tackle Jigglypuff instead. Darkkirby obeyed, slamming into Jigglypuff with his whole body. The attack had the same amount of worth as Supa’s Thundershock.
After that, Jigglypuff began to Sing again, but this time it had managed to actually put Darkk to sleep.
Switching the Sleeping Darkkirby out, SMB then sent out jefferlope. jeff flew low towards the Jigglypuff, using his Gust attack with all his might. Actually, it wasn’t a Gust attack... It was a speedy, straight dash towards Jigglypuff and pecking it with his beak... A Quick Attack.
This seemed to strike the Jigglypuff down at last.
Cursing the girl for wasting his time and forcing him to run to the nearest Pokemon Center, SMB dashed out.

SMB stopped by at the Pokemon Center near the base of Mt. Moon. Healing his team, he entered the mountain.
It was surprisingly bright inside... He feared he would've had to walk through in the darkness.
Barely two steps over the entrance, he spotted a wild Zubat. Sending out Supakirb, he knocked out the Zubat with a single Thundershock. I'm gonna be doing this for awhile, thought SMB. Zubats were extremely common in caves.
Walking West, he spotted a Technical Machine laying on the ground... He picked it up and read: "Water Gun". This would make a great attack for Darkkirby, but he knew that Darkkirby would just eventually learn how to use the attack during fights anyway. He decided he would sell it after he got out of the cave.
Moving towards the main path, SMB saw another Lass that was standing near a sign that said "Beware! Zubat is a blood sucker!"
The girl, spotting SMB, told him that she was waiting for her friends to find her. She was squidward, and wanted to battle. Sighing, SMB agreed. He needed money, after all.
SMB sent out Supakirb again, and the Lass sent out a Clefairy. She must've been friends with the Jigglypuff Lass.
Supakirb shocked the Clefairy, and even managed to Paralyze it. The Clefairy merely Growled in response, and Supa shocked it again.
Summing up all it's mobility, the Clefairy got up and Pounded Supakirb a good one, right in the head.
The two Pokemon ended up trading fists and lightning bolts. The Clefairy was winning, so SMB switched Supa with jefferlope.
jeff did the Quick Attack again, and to great effect: The Clefairy was knocked out.
After the battle, SMB healed Supa with a spare Potion he had found on the ground. It was time to continue on.

SMB moved along the rocky mountain, fighting trainers and finding items along the way. He even saw and defeated a bunch of Team Rocket members.
Darkkirby gained the most experience of them all. He had learned Water Gun from experience, just as SMB had predicted.
Dark fought a Hiker, and he had single-handedly destroyed two Geodudes and an Onix, all of them with only one Water Gun attack.
Gaining so much experience in a short amount of time, Darkkirby had evolved into a Wartortle.
The closest match SMB had ever had came when he fought a Rocket member with a level 16 Raticate. He had almost lost his entire team due to the fierceness of Raticate's Hyper Fang.
Finding a Technical Machine earlier (Mega Punch), SMB considers teaching either Supakirb or Darkkirby the attack.
Leaving this choice for the future, SMB had made it near the top of the mountain, where he had spotted two Fossils on the ground, and bumped right into a Super Nerd as he stared at them.

"Hey, stop!" The Nerd yelled. "I found these fossils! They're both mine!"
SMB smelled a battle coming on...
The Nerd released his first Pokemon, a Grimer.
SMB released his new and improved Darkkirby, who was now a Wartortle. He looked far more badass now than he did before,
and he no longer merely spat Bubbles, he shot out spouts of water now.
Darkk used Water Gun on Grimer, to great effect. Grimer looked very melty and much grosser now, however...
Grimer Disabled Dark's ability to Tackle it, but that wasn't a problem at all. Dark used Water Gun once again, but Grimer was still standing, but very weak.
SMB commanded Darkkirby to finish it off with a Bubble attack, and Dark obeyed. Getting smacked around by the Bubbles, the Grimer finally melted in an usable state.
Returning his Grimer, the Super Nerd's next Pokemon was a Voltorb. SMB decided to switch Dark with jeff again.
Normally, Electric attacks (Which are what Voltorbs are capable of) would knock out jefferlope in one shock, but this Voltorb was too weak to do anything like that. jefferlope use Quick Attack, knocking the Voltorb against the wall. The Voltorb made a high pitched squealing noise, making SMB and even the Super Nerd cover their ears. This was the Screech attack, which lowers the Defense of a Pokemon. Not that this mattered anyway, Voltorb was never going to attack anything.
jefferlope then Gusted the Voltorb away for a knock out.
The final Pokemon in the Nerd's reserve was a Koffing. SMB didn't switch out jefferlope just yet, he thought he could get a Quick Attack in before letting Supakirb finish the Koffing off. Bad choice. Very, very, bad choice. The Koffing emitted a strong smelling Smog attack, which not only heavily damaged jefferlope, it also Poisoned him. SMB could barely think. He switched out jefferlope with Supakirb like he planned, but he was so worried about jefferlope.
Supakirb was switched out, and Koffing promptly Tackled him. Thundershocking the Koffing back, it fell down, knocked out.
SMB couldn't hear. He thought he saw the Nerd allow him to take a Fossil, but SMB was to busy searching his bag for something, anything that might let jefferlope survive the Poisoning. All he had was a Rare Candy. It would have to do.
Pushing the Nerd aside with a blank and scared expression on his face, SMB ran very fast out of the cave, not even looking at either of the Fossils.
SMB knew that with every step, jefferlope was getting punished by the injection. The Route that was at the end of the cave was a maze.
He tried to go through each step gently and strategically, and then it happened. SMB's heart stopped.

I took the wrong turn!!! There is no way I'm going to get out of the Route before...

Cerulean City (Part 1)
jefferlope wasn’t looking good. Maybe, just maybe, SMB might be able to sidle over as quickly and carefully as possible, he might make it to the Pokemon Center.
Painstakingly, he lifted his leg toward his destination, and about five seconds later he did the same with the other leg. Left, right, left, right, as if trudging through snow.
SMB began to speed up a little bit, he saw that his destination was near.
Just then, the worst thing that could’ve happened, happened.
A wild Sandshrew appeared from nowhere, blocking SMB’s way. No time to waste whatsoever, SMB had. He released Darkkirby, and within seconds, Sandshrew was head over heels, soaking wet from Dark’s Water Gun attack. Deciding it was wise to keep Dark out the whole time in case other diversions occurred, SMB walked along with him.

Panic had struck; The walk between the route and the city seemed immense.
There it was, the Pokemon Center, just some few yards away…
SMB released jefferlope to check his condition. It wasn’t pretty…
jeff’s entire body was tinted with a dark purple, and his wings were very frail. His eyes were rolled to the back of his head, or as it seemed: His eyes were only half-way open, and only the white part was visible.
His beak was also ajar, and what leaked from it was a purplish-red substance.
SMB choked. He feared that was he was viewing right now in his hands was the combined fluid of jeff’s blood and the liquid poison. His talons were balled up like fists.
Judging by jeff’s looks, he had to be dead… But SMB was missing one indicator of life: Heartbeat. SMB couldn’t do it, he just couldn’t.
Right when he thought it was too late, the door to the Pokemon Center had opened.
Wincing as he did so, SMB absentmindedly (But at the same time, purposefully) tossed jefferlope at whoever was opening the door like a football and said, “BRING HIM INSIDE! HE’S NOT WELL!” SMB looked away from the jefferlope being tossed into the sky, for it had looked rather humorous, and he didn’t want to laugh at the poor thing as it was only a few hit points away from dying.
The person who caught jefferlope was none other than Nurse Joy. After quickly scolding him for tossing the bird Pokemon like that, SMB explained that he didn’t want to take any steps, as it would only further lower his HP. Nurse Joy slammed the door and ran off the ER.
Sighing, SMB had to take a minute of what just happened.
One minute, he was battling a mean Koffing at the summit of Mt. Moon, the next, running as fast as he could out and running to this city that was called--SMB collapsed because of exhaustion--…

SMB woke up face down on the ground.
He wretched… He had drooled all over himself in his slumber, and he tasted dirt.
Brushing off debris off of his jacket and wiping off the disgusting, smelly liquid off his face, SMB had a headache.
So much had happened, he didn’t know where he was.
He looked to his left… “Cerulean City”, eh…
Then he had remembered.
jefferlope!
SMB made a tripping-running start towards the Pokemon Center, and went inside. Nurse Joy was there, as always, and she had recognized him immediately. “You!” she started. SMB cut her off before she could continue, he didn’t need her scolding.
“Where’s… jefferlope…,” SMB asked desperately.
“Your Pidgey is doing fine,” said Joy. “How exactly did he get like that? That was a very serious Poisoning…”
SMB had explained what happened.
After that, Joy had a Chansey bring in a Pokeball that contained jefferlope, and told him to be more careful next time, and all that stuff.
She’s not very smart, SMB thought. Pokemon are meant for batting, so chances are, someone’s gonna get hurt every once in awhile.

After marveling at jefferlope’s health, SMB felt very guilty. He had never wanted this to happen to any of his Pokemon. He vowed to never let it happen again.
He ran off, to do some more training.

Notice: Sorry for the smallish update, guys. I just wanted to give you the heads up on jeff's health. And the next chapter will contain lotsa filler. Razz This is due to the loads of training I'm gonna be required to be doing in order to beat Misty. So yeah.

Filler~
Wondering what he should do now, now that jefferlope is fully healed, SMB figured he ought to train his team up so he can defeat the next gym. But, he thought, since this was a filler chapter, maybe he should skip about 90% of the battles here.

1 training montage later…

SMB’s team was looking great. DarkKirby, muscular and arrogant. SupaKirb, efficient and quick. Jefferlope, noble and brave.
SMB thought he should pull out some of his valuables, and sell them. He didn’t need hardly any of the TMs he had found. Besides, he needs a lot more money before he can get a Porygon.
He did happen to save one TM however. It was a TM that contained Mega Punch.
He had two choices: Either teach Mega Punch to SupaKirb or to DarkKirby. After awhile, he chose Dark.
Taking out the silver disk, he gave it to Dark. He had never actually used a TM before, and he didn’t know exactly what to do with it.
Dark didn’t know either.
DarkKirby had gave SMB a look: His front teeth stuck out, and his eyes went crazy. He then made a loud, frightening noise, “DERP!!!” and he stuffed the TM into his mouth.
SMB jumped, and took the TM from his mouth. DarkKirby frowned, and his eyes narrowed.
SMB wondered what was going on… Dark had leaned back, and swung his arm back… He brought it forward with much force, and hit SMB square on the nose, sending him a few yards away.
Dark had obviously learned Mega Punch.
Rejoicing, SMB had went on another training montage.

Another training montage later…

DarkKirby’s new move was now his signature and most powerful attack. Dark had mastered it.
SupaKirb and jeff were looking slick, too.
There was just one more place he hadn’t checked…
SMB walked over towards a bridge that had 5 or 6 trainers on it.
With DarkKirby walking at his side, SMB said confidently, “Pelican’s Reef, eh?”
“That’s Nugget Bridge.” said DarkKirby.
“I’m not afraid of a challenge,” said SMB, apparently unaware that his Wartortle has just spoken words to him.
Then he found out.
“Did you just talk, Dark???” asked SMB frantically.
Dark extended his neck about 2 feet. “Nope,” he said.
Figuring he was getting a little dizzy after all the training, SMB went straight towards the first trainer on Nugget Bridge.

Again, sorry for the rushed chapter, guys! But it IS filler, after all.
Still, to make up for this, here’s a surprise:

DarkKirby the Wartortle:
SupaKirb the Pikachu:
jefferlope the Pidgey:

Cerulean City (Continued)~
The battles were won. He had defeated all of the weak trainers on Nugget Bridge.
A smiling man wearing a Team Rocket uniform fronted SMB with his prize: A very valuable Nugget.
Gladly about to take the small, golden sphere, SMB asked, "Hey, are you dressed up for Halloween, or are you really a Team Rocket member?"
The man jumped. "How did you know!?"
Darkk, whom was currently out of his Pokéball, did a facepalm. He pointed a tiny blue finger at the prominent "R" on the man's shirt.
"Yeah," said SMB. "If you are a member, I'd like to join!"
"Whaaa--?" the man started. "I never even asked you to join yet! Kids all over the town beat me, I ask them to join, they refuse, and I fight them! That's how it's always been!"
"Well, my Pokémon aren't exactly in a strong enough state to be battling right now. Can I just join, please?"
"T-t-t-NO! You can't join! So there!"
The Team Rocket member dropped his Nugget and ran away crying.
SMB picked up his prize and went to sell it for 5000.

Later, SMB decided that it was time to fight Misty, whom he heard was the Gym Leader in these parts.

Walking into her Gym, he noticed two swimmers and then Misty herself.
He figured he ought to skip over these trainers, just like he did in Pewter City.
Misty stood there, arms at the waist.
"Hot." SMB said.
Misty was saying words, but SMB didn't really notice.
She then sent out her first Pokémon: Staryu.
SMB laughed, he knew Staryu held no match against his Supakirb. After all, water conducts electricity, and Staryu was a Water type.
Supa was ready, and he brought all his experience during his Nugget Bridge training with him.
With a glorious Thundershock that glistened shiny blue and caused the pool around Misty's gym to become wavy, the Staryu had fallen in one hit. It must've been a Critical Hit...
The room around Misty's gym was storming. Small but fierce looking clouds had emerged from the area of contact between the Thundershock attack and the water. The waves became violent, and the platforms that held SMB and Misty and their Pokémon were begin to swerve uncontrollably around.
The water wasn't black, contrary to the now busted lighting of the gym. It was incadescent blue, sparkling over a matrix of white, thin, jagged lines dancing in the water. It must be the electricity in the water. If SMB touched it, he would certainly die of electrocution.
Supakirb was balancing on the tip of his tail.
The other swimmers had evacuated the building, evidentally. That, or their roasted skeletons were blackened to the point that you could no longer see them in the darkness.
The sound of static was amock.
Misty barely kept her composure as she let out her next Pokémon, carefully aimed at the pinkish floating matt in front of her.
It was a Starmie, and a powerful looking one at that. The red jewel that was in the center of Starmie's "face" was glowing; It had appeared to be afraid.
SMB couldn't blame it, the blackish-blue atmosphere of the room was intimidating. Perhaps Supakirb is far too overpowering...?
Misty signalled the Starmie to attack.
It shot out Bubbles, like Darkk, at Supa. Actually, no, these Bubbles were different.
Rather than being shot in a random, forward velocity that was Dark's version of Bubble, these Bubbles were smaller, translucent, and were formed in almost single-file, like a Beam. A Bubblebeam...
These Bubbles seem to be much more powerful than Dark's Bubbles could ever be.
Supa got smacked by nearly all of the Bubbles that Starmie shot at him.
In furious retaliation, Supa ignored the strict protocol that SMB had gave him when they had first met: Instead of Thundershocking the Starmie, he had gave him a Quick Attack. This was likely due to Supa's sudden anger, and he had wanted to attack personally rather than use flashy techniques.
Which was a bad idea.
Supa recoiled after he had hit Starmie with the attack. Starmie's hard exterior called against attacks such as Quick Attack.
The water-type Pokémon had responded to this arrogant move, and Tackled Supa while he was down, rubbing his head in pain.
Starmie Tackled again, and was headed towards the roaring, electric water which seemed like a vast ocean now.
SMB couldn't let Supa take this abuse: He attempted to send him back into his Pokéball. It was Darkk's turn to fight.
Supa refused and dodged the white light emitted from the Pokéball that was meant to send Supa back.
Supa turned back at Starmie. Lightning was haphazardously crashing down, and the matts that seperated the two Pokémon were now many yards away.
SMB forgot that he was still in-doors...
The smalll yellow rodent had jumped up in the air; Starmie had done the same.
With most utter bravery, Supa let out another Thundershock attack, but at the same time, Starmie had let out a Bubblebeam.
The two attacks combined.
It created a water-twister... No, it had created an electric-water vortex that Supakirb and Starmie were falling down into, completely worn out.
SMB returned Supakirb, but as he did, Starmie had woken up and was spinning right towards SMB, prepared to attack the master who had trained the Pokémon that defeated him.
SMB sent out Darkk, and as soon as the walking turtle knew what was happening, he leaped towards the Starmie...
"METSU..." said Darkk. He had Mega Punched the Starmie right below the red jewel.
Next, he Mega Punched the Starmie right on the red jewel, and pushed upward on it. If Starmie had a jaw, it wouldn't work anymore after this.
"SHORYUKEN."
The Starmie fell into the electric vortex, and after a few seconds, the storm ended, and the vortex died.
SMB, having been utterly awed by what he had experienced, had whited out. Whatever that means.

Sorry guys, no cards this time. I hope you enjoyed this chapter nonetheless.

Worst news ever, guys.

After finding my lost copy of Pokemon Blue, I turned it on and looked in dismay.
The menu didn't say "Continue", all it said was "New Game".
In other words, my data was corrupted.

Luckily, the cards that I made for Supa, Darkk, and jeff have every bit of information I'll ever need about my Pokemon.
I know all of your attacks, HP, and everything. I just need to re-catch and re-train you all.

Here are the latest stats before you all got erased:
Spoiler:

This is extremely downputting for me. My life is has been spiraling downward even before this incident. So, this next wait is probably gonna be a long one.
Because of this, I really, REALLY don't want to start all over again.

I apologize for this dreadful inconvenience.
